It is almost the end of the month of May as I write this. I cannot believe we are almost half way through the year already.
I am still working on my socks and I have started on a large blanket for my sister for christmas this year, yes I am getting way ahead with my christmas knitting this year.
I recently shared a photograph of one of my most prized knitwear designs on my instagram and facebook page, which was actually made by my Nanny Peggy May.
My Nanny always worked from memory and never used a pattern for her knitting, which I found amazing! You can see with this cardigan how she still was using her wool up with a colour block theme. She had many years of having to re purpose wool when she knitted a jumper or vest for her family she would rip it out when they were bigger and use it up in other projects.
I also have a few extra clubs added to the website, so I will post a few of the pictures of them here for you in case you miss them.
The second installment in the Anne of Green Gables yarn series. Boxes are being delivered for the first one and I am so glad people are loving it. Anne with an e is very special to me.
I am bringing back the mini skeins club, as people loved it. Would also love to see what you make with the mini skeins, so feel free to email or contact me and show me.
Harry Potter is a new club and we are starting with Harry this time then using a different character or aspect of the movies and books. My granddaughters are obsessed with all things Harry Potter now so I am excited to get their opinion on the yarn I dye for this one.
Thats all for now. Thank you all so much for all of your support, it really does mean the world to me. Happy crafting
